BASF Coatings officially recommended by Nissan in Europe as supplier of automotive refinish products.
Nissan in Europe and BASF Coatings have agreed to extend their existing cooperation across Europe. BASF Coatings is recommended by Nissan to its dealership and Bodyshop network in Europe. This agreement is based on a strong cooperation at local level between operational teams of both companies.
In addition to the supply of paints, the agreement also promotes the implementation of the Nissan body and; paint program based on BASF consultancy and training expertise. BASF Coatings and Nissan in Europe have already had a close partnership in Spain for 20 years. “We now plan to extend this good cooperation to the whole of Europe,” explained Jordi Pastor, Aftersales Marketing Manager of Nissan Europe.
“We chose BASF Coatings as our partner: the company stands out for its innovative strength in the Nissan network and its high level of color expertise.” Other criteria for the decision included the company’s training concepts, with 11 Refinish Competence Centres throughout Europe (over 60 training facilities), and its service portfolio, Jordi Pastor emphasised.
For Uwe Bauschulte, Director Key Account Management Automotive Refinish of BASF Coatings, the agreement is another step towards intensifying the partnerships in the automotive refinish sector with carmakers.
